Audi today launched their A1 model in Beijing. I was there to cover the photographers who were covering the event for Audi. As the A1 is an economy model, I was told, more money is spent on marketing than higher-end models because, well, the market is bigger. In this case, Audi rented out the entire Olympic stadium, and used the lighting in the famous bird’s nest as part of the effects for this lavish show.
