This morning I wandered around in the glow from the rising sun for nearly two hours, and took a large amount of keepers. They all pleased me, but I especially like this mangrove that, with it’s grasping skeletal shape, that put me in mind of Theodor Geisel’s (Doctor Seuss) illustrations of trees in his fantastical lands. No, it’s not a Trufula tree (they are, sadly, extinct), but Seussesque, none the less.
I acknowledge that this photo was taken on the traditional lands of the Yuggera people, and pay my respects to Elders both past, present and future, and their traditions of respect and sustainability for these lands.
